Sports Centres in Liverpool and Merseyside

Think of the city of Liverpool, and most people will consider the great sporting traditions from the likes of Liverpool Football Club or Everton Football club and the legendary players they have produced.

Liverpool is one of the sporting capitals of the country, and for this reason puts a lot of stock into the sports and leisure facilities the county has to offer.

All Liverpool Council run sports centres are called Lifestyle Centres with the exception of a few specialist centres that run under their own names.

Lifestyles Alsop

Lifestyles Alsop has a wide range of facilities available including a fitness suite, sports hall, swimming pool, steam and sauna as well as a whole program of fitness classes.

The Lifestyles Ellergreen sports centre has some great facilities that offer the community a lot of variation on fitness and sports.

The facilities at Lifestyles Ellergreen include Urban Street Dance, Football Coaching, 2 floodlit 7-a-side synthetic pitches, swimming, steam room, fitness suite and a multi-purpose sports hall.

Lifestyles Toxteth Sports Centre

Lifestyles Toxteth Sports Centre is an amazing and new sports centre in Liverpool.

This great and advanced sports centre offers football coaching, a four-courts sports hall, weights room, 3 seven-a-side synthetic outdoor pitches and 2 squash courts.

Lifestyles Park Road

Lifestyles Park Road is the ‘Gymnastics Centre of Excellence’ for Liverpool and carries a wide range of facilities such as a swimming pool, teaching pool, a competition gymnastic hall with seating capacity for 450, fitness suite, sports hall, badminton and table tennis.

There is also a synthetic pitch, sauna, steam room and spa bath.
