Tom Crean was second officer aboard Endurance.
Returning home to Ireland after the epic journey – currently featured in the exhibition Endurance: Shackleton’s Antarctic Adventure – he opened the South Pole Inn.
Catch up with the Merseyside Maritime Museum’s roleplayer, to hear Crean’s account of the incredible feat of survival against the odds.
This event is suitable for everyone, and is being held in the 1st Floor performance space.
