Set against the spectacular backdrop of North Wales and Cheshire, this popular fundraising bike event is open to all.

This year’s challenge will take place on May 8, starting and finishing at Hope Parish Hall, Wrexham.  Three entry levels – 15, 50 or 100 miles – means participants can choose the challenge that suits them. If you register in advance tickets are £15 ( £20 on the day ) and there is a £30 sponsorship level as well as discounts for group bookings. 

Funds raised from the event will go to deliver cancer research for the people of Merseyside and Cheshire.

The event will consist of music, fashion, jewellery, cakes and most importantly local artists and designers will be bringing their crafts to the table. 

With several stalls to rummage around you can find some hidden gems!

The students are hoping to raise money for charity throughout the night so it’s all for a good cause.

Carols by Candlelight is a very special event to celebrate the festive season and Mencap Liverpool’s 60th anniversary. Enjoy traditional Christmas songs, carols by the exceptional Sense of Sound choir and readings by special guests in a beautiful candlelit setting.

Come along at 6.30pm for wine and mince pies before the service, which begins at 7pm.

All funds raised will help Mencap provide life changing opportunities for people with a learning disability, so that they can live independent, full and valued lives.

There’s a 10k (age 16+) and 5k (age 10+) race and a 3.5k Santa Saunter walk that’s open to all ages (under 5′s go free).

All entrants will receive FREE reindeer antlers to run/walk in, and there will be lots of fun on the day, including refreshments; rides for the kids and Christmas competitions.

Liverpool Cathedral’s Well will be the spectacular venue for Clatterbridge Cancer Research’s Christmas Carol Concert.

This event is a perfect way to get in the Christmas spirit with friends and family and promises to be an evening of fantastic music with local choirs and choruses taking part.
