Shelter, is today calling on people in the Liverpool area to sign up for Vertical Rush, a fantastic new endurance event that challenges people to race to the summit of one of the city’s tallest buildings. On the 17th of October, the housing and homelessness charity hopes hundreds of Liverpudlians will scale the 558 stairs of the iconic St John’s Beacon in the heart of the city, home of Radio City 96.7 to help raise money for their vital work.
In our experience people buy contemporary art because they ‘just love it’, and in the case of Sir Peter Blake’s work there is no doubt that it represents an opportunity in the current economic climate. Sir Peter Blake’s work is rising in value and evidence of Sir Peter’s popularity has been demonstrated over last few years with his original limited edition silkscreen’s selling out, sometimes within a few days !
