The Hope Street Quarter will be closed to traffic and open to merriment from 5am until 8pm. As well as the huge Farmers’ Market running the length of Hope Street, and intermingled with stalls promoting Wealth and Hell Being (provided by the street theatre geniuses that are Hope Street Ltd) there will be musical performances including ~ BOLD ST FESTIVAL – SUNDAY 26TH SEPTEMBER 2010 Bold St…what does it mean to you? Bohemian, cultural, independent, quirky, surprising, creative, historic, cosmopolitan, freethinking, diverse? Cafes, shops, bars, conversation, street life – a world away from clone city blandness. From fair-trade to serious fun; books, bags and boots; coffee, clothes and crafts; and the best hairdressers in town! If you can’t find it here, you probably don’t need it. For the third year running, Bold St Village Traders will be hosting the Bold St Festival – an all-day extravaganza of colour, energy, culture and fun.
Life is a cabaret old chum, come to the cabaret! Put down your knitting, your cat and your broom boys and girls, organisers of Liverpool Pride announce a fabulous line up of stars to play the Cabaret Stage at Liverpool’s first ever official Pride festival, which takes place in and around Liverpool’s Dale St area on Saturday 7th August.
