To celebrate summer, Tesco Mobile is touring the country with a fun-filled, free family fete.

The first Tesco Mobile ‘Summer Days’ event will take place from 10am until 4pm on Saturday 28th August at Sefton Park and Croxteth Country Park on Sunday 29th August.

The outdoor events are free for anyone to attend and Tesco Mobile is laying on a whole host of entertainment, games and giveaways that will suit everyone in the family.

The Tesco Mobile fetes aim to bring families and friends together to enjoy the outdoors with some good old fashioned fun and games in the park, whilst also offering free sporting goodies and the chance to win a top of the range mobile phone.

White picket fences, colourful bunting and classic sea side deck chairs will create that authentic summer fete atmosphere.

A range of games and activities will be running throughout the day, including colourful face-painting and the chance to work with circus entertainers to learn a variety of circus skills, from spinning plates, juggling balls, to learning how to walk on stilts. To get everyone up and active, there will also be a range of sports including mini football for the little ones, volleyball, badminton and short tennis – offering something to suit every age and level.

There will also be an appearance from those much-loved English family favourites, Punch & Judy, who will be performing shows throughout the day at 11am, 1pm and 3pm.

To make sure that parents and adults are not left out, Tesco Mobile will be providing giant board games including those childhood classics such as Connect Four, Giant Jenga and Draughts, that will get the young and the old having fun and enjoying the English sunshine.

Visitors will also get the chance to win a brand new, sleek LG Viewty GM360 mobile phone from Tesco Mobile. All they have to do is pick up one of the Tesco Mobile Frisbees at the Summer Days event and before having a throw of  it, text the number on the Frisbee, to find out immediately if they’re a winner – it’s that simple!

Residents of Central Manchester who fancy breakfast in bed are in for a treat as Domino’s Pizza in Manchester, is now delivering just that – delicious, hot sweetcured back bacon, sausage and egg subs, Lavazza coffee and even pizza. The store, which is open 24 hours each day, will deliver a piping hot breakfast sub and a coffee to your door for just £7.99 or two of each for £14.00.

Store manager Steve Cubitt, currently Domino’s International Manager of the Year, said: “We are already open until 5am, but could see that there was a big demand for a tasty Domino’s breakfast – so we’ve increased our opening hours and made one available.

“Residents and office workers within the Central Manchester area can now order their breakfast from us and we’ll get it delivered right to the door. And if you fancy pizza for breakfast – no problem! We’ll deliver that too!”

The store will be sampling its new hot breakfast subs around the Manchester area throughout the week [commencing August 16].

The hot breakfast subs are available with any combination of sweetcured back bacon, sausage and egg and come with a sachet of HP Sauce and one of Heinz Tomato Ketchup. Delivery is available to anyone currently within the Manchester City Centre store’s delivery area and the store can be contacted on 0161 273 5666. A sub and a coffee delivered will cost £7.99, or £4.99 if you collect it from the store, and customers can order online at www.dominos.co.uk too.
