Liverpool based Tmesis Theatre return this June with their sixth annual ‘Physical Fest’ festival of physical workshops and performances, the only festival of its kind in Europe. The pinnacle of this year’s festival is the first ever ‘Fest Live’ event to be held at the Black-E, on Sat June 12th from 7pm. Fest Live promises to be an exciting open platform performance night, giving the opportunity for new and established artists to try out ideas as well as hosting extracts of professional work. Waste and Resources and ActionNow in its fifth year, the campaign is run by WRAP (Waste and Resources Action Programme): a not-for-profit company supported by funding from DEFRA and the DTI, in partnership with the administrations of Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. The week is supported by local authorities, schools and businesses, when hundreds of events take place across the UK highlighting the importance of recycling, as well as informing and raising awareness of the benefits to the community.
